Grants and Resources to Support Your Work

Grants and Resources to Support Your Work

Arkansas Community Foundation makes grants to hundreds of nonprofits each year through competitive grant cycles and donor advised funds. We also provide informational tools like Aspire Arkansas and ENGAGE Magazine to promote nonprofit programs statewide. Additionally, the Community Foundation is a resource for nonprofits who wish to invest and grow endowed funds.

Organizational Endowments

Nonprofit organizations often choose to establish organizational endowments (also known as agency endowment funds) as a permanent source of annual income to support their operation and programs.

By partnering with the Community Foundation, the nonprofit’s board and executive leadership are able to remain focused on their primary mission and programs, leaving the investment oversight, management, and reporting to us.  The Community Foundation’s highly experienced board members, financial advisor and managers oversee an investment strategy designed to maximize total return within acceptable risk tolerances.

The Community Foundation’s endowed pool of assets include more than 2,000 component funds, allowing for economies of scale which keep administrative costs low for fund services and management.

Giving Tree Grants

Giving Tree Endowments at the local and state level make annual grants through a competitive process to support a variety of causes, based on changing community needs. Committees of local leaders in each community determine the best use of Giving Tree grant funds.
