Jody Dilday Named Development Director for Arkansas Community Foundation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 6, 2017) – Jody Dilday of Fayetteville has been named Arkansas Community Foundation’s Development Director. The Community Foundation offers tools to help Arkansans protect, grow and direct their charitable dollars as they learn more about community needs.

“Jody is an excellent addition to our central office team,” said Heather Larkin, president and CEO of the Community Foundation. “Her work in Northwest Arkansas will expand our statewide development capacity and build key relationships in that corner of the state.”
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Dilday has 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She worked as a social worker with the Benton County Department of Human Services and Director of Development and Community Relations for the NWA Chapter of the American Red Cross before becoming Executive Director of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas, a role she held for nearly 10 years.
Dilday is a founding member of Womenade of Northwest Arkansas, a graduate of Leadership Fayetteville and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has served on the board of directors of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, the Arkansas Nonprofit Alliance and is a past president of Northside Fayetteville Rotary Club.  Dilday was included in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list in 2010 and Arkansas Business selected her as a finalist for the Nonprofit Executive Director of the Year in 2015.

By making grants and sharing knowledge, the Community Foundation supports charitable programs that work for Arkansas and partners to create new initiatives that address the gaps.  Since 1976, the Community Foundation has provided more than $156 million in grants and partnered with thousands of Arkansans to help them improve our neighborhoods, our towns and our entire state. Contributions to the Community Foundation, its funds and any of its 27 affiliates are fully tax deductible.
