The Community Foundation of Faulkner County has an unrestricted grantmaking fund that allows us to assess the community’s needs and make grants to nonprofit organizations to support those needs. Following are our 2006 grant recipients.
- Conway Interfaith Clinic
- Faulkner Co. Senior Citizens Center
- CASA of 20th Judicial District
- Women's Shelter
- Bethlehem House
- Vilonia Parent Center
- Excel Upward
- Faulkner Co. Day School
The Community Foundation of Faulkner County is continuing to build our unrestricted fund through participating in the ARCF PARTNERS program, which is funded by a major grant to the Arkansas Community Foundation by the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation. If your organization would like to learn more about our grantmaking process and grantmaking guidelines, please contact Julie LaRue at commfound@yahoo.com.
| Children at several Conway elementary schools were the happy recipients of their very own I Like Me books. Presented by the Conway Morning Rotary Club with the help of a 2005 grant from CFFC, the books are personalized, esteem-building stories that the children can take home and enjoy with family members. |
