     The St. Francis County Community Foundation was established in 2001 and is having an increasingly positive impact on the community it serves.  Spurred onward by the support and incentives of the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation PARTNERS Program the local affiliate board is a very committed and involved group of local leaders.  Every member is a donor to the Founders Club, which is providing funding for the operational endowment.  Every member is a doer in the organization’s activities and presentations.  And, every member is helping to open doors that will involve more and more of the community in the spirit of charitable endowment building.  The results from the dedicated efforts of these donors, doers, and door openers are seen in the 100% attainment of the first five years of fund development goals and in September of 2006 this affiliate has more than doubled its $100,000.00 fund development goal for the new fiscal year and has over $1.7 million in total assets!
