Who We Are
Today the Arkansas Community Foundation is the state’s premier philanthropy resource for comprehensive charitable gift planning for individuals, nonprofits and corporations. Working together with fund donors, grant recipients and communities, the Foundation is a powerful catalyst for building charitable giving in our state.
The Arkansas Community Foundation helps communities build permanently endowed assets with its 26 Affiliates statewide who unite local leadership with a statewide board and staff resources. Through 19 Youth Advisory Councils, the Foundation promotes interest in charitable giving among the next generation. These groups of high school students learn about philanthropy through developing funds and making grants to nonprofit organizations that deal with youth issues.
The Foundation unites professional advisors and their clients with the charitable needs statewide. Financial advisors provide information about the Foundation and how it serves charitable giving needs. Clients gain maximum tax advantages while helping Arkansas’ communities.
