Madelyn Ginsberg Named Executive Director of Pope County Community Foundation

Madelyn Ginsberg recently accepted the position of executive director of Pope County Community Foundation, a local affiliate office of Arkansas Community Foundation (ARCF). Ginsberg will fill the position vacated by outgoing Executive Director Betty LaGrone, who retired this fall after 10 years of service to the Community Foundation. 

“Madelyn has already proven herself to be a committed community leader who is invested in serving and building Pope County, and we are pleased to have her on our staff,” said Heather Larkin, ARCF President and CEO. “Betty LaGrone has been an outstanding executive director and advocate for the community foundation. Although we’re sad to see her go, we’re confident that Madelyn is the right person to take up the torch.” 

Ginsberg graduated summa cum laude from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in speech communication. She has previously served as assessment coordinator for national Assessment of Educational Progress/Westat and is currently a member of the Pope County Quorum Court, serving on the Budget Committee and as chair of the Personnel, Insurance and Welfare Committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Russellville, serves on the steering committee for Main Street Russellville and is an active volunteer for the Russellville School District and Salvation Army.
