AT&T War Memorial Scholarship Supports Veterans Seeking Higher Education
The AT&T War Memorial Scholarship, which honors Arkansas's 25 Medal of Honor winners, will be awarded annually to a veteran of any branch of the U.S. Armed Services who will be attending an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Arkansas.
One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded each year. A committee appointed by Arkansas Community Foundation will select the winner.
Eligibility Criteria
The recipient must:
- Be a veteran of the Armed Services
- Be a current resident of Arkansas
- Plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Arkansas
- Demonstrate financial need, community leadership and potential to succeed in college

The deadline to apply is April 1, 2013. The winning applicant will be notified later in the spring, and the scholarship will be awarded for the 2013-2014 school year.
