We're thrilled to announce our largest grant to date!
In October 2010, EFCC gave $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Wynne. The funds from this grant enabled Habitat to complete a home that was only partially finished. The recipient of the home is a 50-year-old woman from Cross County who cares for her nine-year-old granddaughter. Due to mental and physical disabilities, the granddaughter will never be able to live independently. The grandmother applied to Habitat because she feared for her family’s safety in their current living arrangements. Thanks to the generosity of Habitat, the family now lives in an environment that affords them a greater sense of safety and security.
