Giving Partnerships

Amplify the power of your giving by working with others who share your passion.

When you give through Arkansas Community Foundation, you become a part of a family of philanthropists working to make a difference in Arkansas. Let us help you get connected.

Match Challenges: We’ll Match Your Gift

One way to create a giving partnership is by taking advantage of “match” giving. When Arkansas Community Foundation issues a “match challenge,” we agree to match donations from others to a specific cause with a corresponding donation from our own funds. You can double the bang for your philanthropic buck!

Create Your Own Match Challenge

You can take the lead by issuing a match challenge of your own! Decide which organization you want to support and challenge other donors to get involved by matching their donations with a corresponding gift from your own endowment or fund.

Recently the Chamberlin Family Foundation at ARCF issued a match challenge to help Dunbar Community Garden raise funds after a sudden budget cut. The Chamberlins offered a dollar-for-dollar match for up to $10,000. Within weeks, Dunbar Garden was able to raise $10,000 to qualify to receive the additional $10,000 from the Chamberlins.

You can partner with others in your community who share similar charitable interests.

Through a giving circle, many people contribute a relatively small amount to a single fund and then meet as a group to decide which charitable causes to support with their pooled funds. It’s social philanthropy!

In Hot Springs, young professionals are working together to organize the Hot Springs Future Fund, a giving circle to provide for the future growth and development of their town.

In Conway County, Mississippi County and Greene County, women of all ages are collaborating to build Women’s Giving Circles to support causes benefitting women and children.
