A 35-Year Investment
It takes vision and foresight to imagine how an investment today can pay off in 35 years. Polly Keller Winter has that kind of vision. A founding member of Arkansas Community Foundation, Keller Winter led the charge back in 1977 to establish one of ARCF’s earliest endowments — the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Society Endowment to support the ongoing operations of the orchestra. Keller Winter’s fundraising efforts resulted in just under $315,000 to invest in an endowment at ARCF; today, that endowment is valued at almost three quarters of a million dollars.
More than that, in the intervening 35 years, the endowment has provided $865,000 in grants to support the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra — almost three times the amount originally invested. If you’ve got a vision for the future of your community, Arkansas Community Foundation is here to partner with you for the long term.
